Ten Millionth Item of the University of Florida Digital Collections

The ten millionth digital page at the University of Florida Digital Collections comes from a very rare pamphlet, Martí y Las Discriminaciones Raciales (Martí and Racial Discrimination), produced in 1953 to celebrate José Martí’s (1853-1895) racial tolerance and as part of a wider celebration of Cuba’s national hero, 100 years after his birth. This publication is intended to serve as a bridge between the Jewish Cuban community and the Cuban community.
