LibraryPress@UF seeks projects and partners for 2024

LibraryPress@UF (LP@UF), an imprint of the George A. Smathers Libraries and the University of Florida Press, invites proposals to collaboratively develop and publish openly accessible academic scholarship and creative works. LP@UF seeks publications that are primarily digital and open access, with print-on-demand as an option for projects with a demonstrated need for print. LP@UF seeks partners that share our dedication to transformative collaboration, transparent editorial processes, and sustainable publication formats. LP@UF is especially interested in supporting works that amplify the impact of the Libraries’ collections, as well as community- or partner-driven scholarship and public humanities outputs. Proposals should have at least one contributor affiliated with the University of Florida.

Proposals are due by Monday, October 23rd, and should be submitted via the LP@UF website using the form below. Please note that this call is intended for proposals for scholarship, creative works, and educational materials. Examples may include monographs, edited collections, exhibit catalogs, textbooks, or other publication formats.

More details and the submission form are available. Contact with any questions.
